Daily Devotional Day 33

In the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve lived out the will of God with the same natural strength we do. It is this strength that is initially given to all of us. The difference with Adam and Eve was in the beginning before the fall, they enjoyed God's voice from the outside in with absolutely no distractions. Satan was not in the garden. Sin had not infiltrated their lives.

Operating from outside in had not negatively affected them yet. The only outside influence was the voice of God! Outside influence didn't need to be addressed, because all outside influence was without sin. Just think of an earth like that!

Ask the Holy Spirit to show you where you are vulnerable to outside influence and Satan's influence. Ask Him to empower you to resist the outside influences of the world and of sin.
