Daily Devotional Day 41

Satan has had a long time to practice his destructive mission to mankind. He knows a person's nature inside out. He knows you, has your name, and knows all your compulsions and desires. They are not hard to know. We voice them continually. He can manipulate you in a moment.

He is not one to fear because we know his Creator, God, and God loves us. At the same time, he is one to respect as an arch enemy. He is strong and has servants / demons who he uses to manipulate us. If it was not for our sovereign Lord, he would have eradicated us from this world in a moment. He is successful in many cases, robbing people of their purpose. He could just commission one of us, a manipulated servant, to kill us. But God....

Ask the Holy Spirit to show you when you are voicing something that can be used by the devil against you. Are you complaining, disagreeing with the word of God, gossiping, resentful, hateful, greedy, lustful? Allow Him to convict you so that you do not give the devil a stronghold. Ask His help to submit to His correction.
