Daily Devotional Day 53

There are three choices of interpretation. We either get Satan's interpretation of information, our own or we can get God's. If we get Satan's interpretation of information, it is filtered through his fallen character and does not include any of God's character or attributes.

Satan hates God. All of Satan's questions are designed to misinterpret and oppose God. They are meant to confuse us concerning God's purposes and concern for us. It is contrary to the specific instructions God gives us and more importantly His character. All his tactics are meant to make us question the goodness of God. We often hear through this wrong filter. This happens continuously.

Although we will see, there is a way to finally surmount this problem. This is the crux of salvation. It is truly a way of life.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you see Satan's lies. His lies always question the goodness of God and our identity in Christ. Ask Him to give you discernment. Ask Him to help you seek and know truth. The truth sets us free.
