Daily Devotional Day 56

The Holy Spirit carries with Him the Father's character and influence. They are one and the same. If our mind is not influenced by the voice of the Holy Spirit, the information we gather through our five senses becomes a hindrance to communication with God and healthy living. It carries with it our fallen nature and turns the truth into a lie.

Satan wants us to believe we are capable of interpreting life and all its information without God's character influencing it. He is banking on the fact that we will retain our pride and arrogance. This way, we become self dependent and independent of the voice of God. This way, we remain ignorant.

We eventually will self-destruct. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life! We are made and designed to act in harmony with our Father. We were never meant to act just through worldly wisdom and knowledge. If we are left to ourselves, no matter how many degrees and positions we have had in this life, it is to no avail. We will self-destruct.

Practice asking the Holy Spirit to reveal His knowledge and wisdom in all things. Ask Him to help you maintain harmony with the Father. Ask Holy Spirit, " I see. What do You see." Pray for His will, His way,
