Daily Devotional Day Day 40

We find ourselves like Adam and Eve caught in the middle between Satan and God because of Satan's jealousy. We are God's sons, and Satan is not. He is a fallen angel. We will replace him and the angels as the ruling class of God's kingdom. Because of the enmity between God and Satan, Earth has not been a pretty scene, to say the least. It will get worse before it gets better; however, we can get better. We will see that we are no longer subjects to Satan's powers.

Satan's plan is to kill, steal, rob, and destroy mankind. He carries out that mission many different ways; however, that is not our focus. We need to learn how to stay connected to the voice of God and carry out His will. If we have the Holy Spirit and follow His lead in life, we have a defeated foe, Satan. If we do what we are designed to do, God will take care of the rest.

Ask the Holy Spirit to empower you to submit to God and resist the devil! We are victorious in Christ!
