Day 24

The word of God comes to us to divide our soul from our spirit. It shows us the difference between the soul's and the spirit's actions. It is an awesome awakening when we find our spirit or in other words "find ourselves". We have to understand the center of our being before we can learn its' laws and observe them. As we read, the Bible the word of God begins to separate what is coming from our soul and what is coming from our spirit. The soul was always meant to just carry out what our spirit dictates from within us. It was never meant to maintain control of us and dominate us through its' reactions. The domination of the soul is the result of Adam's sin and causes the loss of our ability to hear God's voice.

Adam's sin separated us from God and through knowledge of good and evil, empowered the soul to dominate our spirits. Weakened and hardened spirits are closed off to the influence of the Holy Spirit.

When you read the word of God, ask Him to reveal to you what is flesh and what is spirit. He will divide what is of Him and what is of you.

Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what has weakened your spirit. Ask Him to strengthen and renew your spirit.
