Daily Devotional Day 30

The Tree of Life or as Jesus put it the truth is the only way. Jesus is the Tree of Life. He is the truth. He is the way! He assists us with seeing and hearing the truth which is needed for us to fulfill God's purpose for us. The Tree of Life is more than the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil because it gives God's truth.

The Tree of Life carries with it more than just information. It is the information with His character and knowledge added to it. It is God's way of looking at the facts. Only when we eat of the Tree of Life, can we live "the life worth living". Jesus had the character of His Father and therefore could process all facts and information properly. Jesus said," if you have seen me, you've seen the Father."

Ask the Holy Spirit to give you the truth about a situation today. Ask Him to show you what God thinks and feels about your circumstances. How is His truth different from your view?
